I finally sold out and bought a nearly brand new car this summer. This was one of my last car rides in my 1968 VW Beetle before I entered into the world of air conditioned vehicles. I'm not going to lie, now that I've had a taste of a the good life, it seems like it'd be hard to go back to the low-tech elegance that once chauffeured me all over the desert. So sue me if I've totally been enjoying the luxuries of post 60's automobile technology. That being said, I'm pretty much counting down the days until it's under triple digit temperatures so I can take my baby out for a ride again.
